Quick Study (self portrait).

Hey guys, I been really busy lately so I haven't had time to blog. So above is a quick self portrait and below is a batch of post just to wet your appetite and give you a little taste ... as there are a lot more things to come :-) Thank you for your patience as I know a few peeps checked here to get the update of what I was up to. I plan to make the post flow more consistently now.

'Len', the mystery?

'Len' is almost complete (thank you for being so patient)... . You can see there is not long left now. Once it's done I'll post it up. It's been a real joy painting this even when it seemed like it would never end.

'Cliff' study

Some of you may recognize the fella in this painting ... and no, it's not the guy above that's in 'Len'. If you recall an earlier post titled 'Cliff', he's wearing a yellow jumper. This painting was going at a steady pace until I had to rush it halfway through due to Cliff being at risk of having a stroke. Standing up for long periods was not doing him well but we at least got this far. Then the canvas accidentally fell on top of my mirror which happens to be a mirror without a frame and very sharp edges. So a third of the canvas got ripped lol ... and it still survived after that.
